  The 6th NIFISA was successfully held from the 12th to the 22nd of September, 2017 in NIFS (National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Kanoya) and NSSU (NIPPON Sport Science University ).
  This seminar invited 14 participants from 12 countries.15 invited lecturers from 5 countries(Japan, Taiwan, U.S.A., Malaysia and German) and 15 professors of NIFS conducted the lectures, which were about Olympic education, sports promotion, sport for all, management of sports event, language and culture program and so on.
  At the first 2 days, the participants visited NSSU in Tokyo for participating in Coach Developer Academy program on September 12th to 13th. The participants discussed and shared some cases with famous coaches from the world, and experienced Japanese cultural zen-meditation (zazen) and enjoyed Buddhist vegetarian food.
  After the 11 days seminar, at the Closing Ceremony, the President of NIFS, Prof. Masao MATSUSHITA expressed his greetings and wishes to the participants. Mr. Life CHEMHERE (Zimbabwe), on behalf of all the participants who also extended the appreciation and gave the memorial presents to NIFISA to be a happy ending.

  Beside the seminar, at the final day on 23rd, Sep., NIFISA held the 1st International Conference of NIFISA, as the topic of International Sports Promotion and Development: Global Issues and New Ideas in Sport and Olympics, which was attended by over 50 participants from 20 Countries.
  The conference was stared from the topic of International Sports Development. Dr. Dong-Jhy HWANG (Taiwan) concluded that through sport can build a better world.
  To continue, Dr. Haruo NOGAWA presented the tile of International Sports Promotion, he mentioned that Winter sports used to be assumed to be taken place in winter time and to have natural environment. Now, technological innovation has made possible these season sports to become all year round sports.
  After lunch, Dr. Masamitsu ITO, Dr. Fumihiko IWAHARA, Dr. Shigeki SARODO(NSSU) introduced the Foundation, Enterprise and Challenge of Nippon Sport Science University (NSSU) Coach Developer Academy (NCDA) .
  After the keynote speeches and presentation session, participants presented their own researches and discussed with professors. The Chair of NIFISA, Dr. Shunichi TAKESHITA presented the best presentation awards to Ms. Hasika SITINAYAKE (Sri Lanka), Mr. Chanawat SANPASITT (Thailand), Mr. Chencho WANGDI (Bhutan) and Ms. Nigora GULOMOVA (Uzbekistan) to congratulate them on their outstanding presentation.
  NIFISA Committee also awarded 4 outstanding Alumnus/Alumna, Mr. Chananan SAMAHITO (2nd NIFISA), Ms. Anoma RATHNAYAKA(3rd NIFISA), Ms. Tanya GOMEZ(4th NIFISA) and Mr. Chanawat SANPASITT(5th NIFISA) for appreciating their contributions.
